A unique performance space invites unique performances.
Shows that celebrate the Love of Live.
Gatherings that vitalize the bonds of family and community.
...and so Flying Stage Productions was born

Valentine's Day
is a day for 'duos'...
and we presented three!
and for those making a day of it, we offered a package deal with Positive Pie, just around the corner
This show was the finale of a big musical weekend in Barre, which included the legendary Taj Mahal performing at the Opera House, “Jazzyaoke” night at Espresso Bueno, and a downtown fireworks display.
...and this weekend was itself the culmination of a full week of family-friendly events and activities put together by the Barre Partnership.
Writers for Recovery
Book Launch Party
Participants in the Writers For Recovery workshops are justly proud to have published their new book.
Workshop Directors Bess O'Brien and Gary Miller joined with Flying Stage Productions to mount this
launch party to remember, with moving readings from the authors and hot dance music from the band.
Writers for Recovery authors also presented on our stage in November, opening for
On Top of the World
—the highly-anticipated appearance by this
high-profile duo, now valued friends of
The Flying Stage.
Community involvement was further woven into the show when, as Dwight & Nicole
performed the evening's title tune, they were joined in chorus by a group of students from
Twinfield High School.
Cider Week
March means the return of Vermont Cider Week, with related activities all over the state. We added our share of excitement that weekend with a show by Madaila.
And opening for that red-hot combo was The Limes, a 20-piece “alt-pop-funkestra” made up of talented players from Cabot and Twinfield high schools.

This event brought many of the best VT cidermakers to town. We took advantage of the opportunity to team up with Shacksbury Cider and Positive Pie for this full-package offer on concert night.
In addition, Flying Stage offered these free passes to some lucky raffle winners at the big Saturday Cider Tasting event, hosted by Wilkins Harley-Davidson.
When a tight schedule required us to begin setting up the performance space during Re-SOURCE store hours, we simply invited shoppers to enjoy the “show-before-the-show”.
Flying Stage was proud to host a launch party for the new CD from The Dupont Brothers. Vermont folk-duo Cricket Blue also performed.
And to really make it a party, this marked the first appearance of the good folks from Back Road BBQ as the “official food truck of Flying Stage Productions.”
